Fall Prevention Essentials Presentation

Falls are not a normal part of aging, and there are simple steps people can take to lower their risk. This free one-hour presentation, offered in partnership between Providence and an IRG physical therapist, provides tools and strategies to help older adults stay safe, active, and independent.

Participants will learn why falls happen, common risk factors, and easy ways to prevent them. Topics include balance and strength exercises, reducing trip hazards at home, medication safety, proper footwear, and how changes in vision and hearing can affect balance.

You'll leave with a better understanding of fall risks, along with easy tips and resources to help keep yourself or a loved one safe.
